Congrats to the Rotaract Club of Alpha

Rotaract Club of Alpha was chartered by Emmanuel Katongole,  the District 9211 Governor for District, October 18th, 2013 at the Golden Tulip Hotel. This Rotaract club consist of 22 vibrant and energetic young professional with a passion for service above self. RCOB is proud to charter their newest Rotaract Club and looks forward to supporting their growth into accomplished future Rotarians.

A bit of information about the club:

  • Rotaract Club of Alpha is a community based club
  • Meeting & Venue: The Amariah Hotel every Saturday at 3pm
  • Members: 22 ( 5 members have been Rotaractors before and the rest are new )
  • President : Rtr Doris Deonatus
  • Goals: To spread awareness about Rotary it's benefit to youth and young professionals

Projects: 
  • Ongoing (long term) is supporting the Mzambarauni primary school, the club is expected to donate a minimum of a 100 desks before the end of the Rotary year
  • School needs approximately 180 desks
  • Number of student :1567
  • No of student in a class:92
  • Location: Gongo la Mboto(Pugu road after the Airport)

December/ January Projects:
  • Donating mattress to a government hospital
