RCDOB well represented, and appreciated at Lilanga Exhibition Reception

Last week the Museum in town hosted an important series of cultural activities featuring the works of George Lilanga and Joysterbayans and other Dar es Salaam Rotarians attended in number.
Some of us who attended the excellently organised event, and President Thomas holding the plaque.
The friezes in the photo above were among those dramatically rescued at the Dar es Salaam port from being exported. The RCDOB were approached to aid this effort, and were awarded a special plaque at the reception that took place during the week long event.
