Whirlwind weeks these past few have been! We have had a General Assembly, some wonderful speakers and the August issue of The Wave, our District 9211 newsletter is out.

This brings us to the topic of one of our guest speakers! Vikash Shah, Membership Director in RCDOB and the 2014 Rotary Dar Marathon Chair launched this year's campaign for support for this year's marathon together with Sharmila Bhatt and Nikki Aggarwall. The plans are to raise money for a Computer Learning Centre and refurbishing the centre with state of the art equipment to meet the needs of the University of Dar es Salaam population. Another wonderful presentation we witnessed at the same General Assembly was that of Mr. Howard Castleberry who is partnering with RCDOB to undertake a water well drilling project. Loads of questions were asked and response and questions practical and supportive. We look forward to working with you and your Texas based Club, Howard!
