The rotary Club of Dar es Salaam Oyster Bay, famously known as Joysterbay, celebrated its 6th Club Anniversary on Tuesday, 28th July 2015. The club which meets every Tuesday for breakfast at Golden Tulip, changed it’s meeting venue and time for this week’s meeting and instead met in the evening at Keg and Dhow for what turned to be a strict business meeting and yet a very fun social event.

Visiting Rotarians from other clubs in Dar es Salaam joined us in celebration of the anniversary and had the opportunity to watch a presentation from Read International on the status of one of the club’s service project, the Msasani Primary School library.

Rotarians and guests were invited to the handover ceremony where the Library will be officially handed over to the school ready for use. The handover will be done on Tuesday 11th Aug, at Msasani Primary School from 08:30am.

Guests and visiting Rotarians also participated in the game of Jeopardy organized and ran by Rtn. Marcus and Rtn. Yashica before proceeding to the social part of the evening.
